Happy 2012!!

So, its finally 2012. I had a lot going on in my mind yesterday, especially since it was my 25th birthday and i really felt like letting go and writing this super long post on everything i was feeling and wanted to write about. but as usual, there were too many things to be done, people to layan, and too little time. so blogging again took a back seat. =/

but here i am today! on the 1st of January 2012! Older and wiser, hopefully.

Am still feeling slightly lost now that i'm officially 25, and wondering where life is going to take me. I've been contemplating many ways to advance my career, but none have really taken root. Not that i'm not doing well now, I really do like my job =) even though i have had 20 hour work days and 70 hour work weeks, and though it has given me much stress and lack of sleep, I have learnt so much throughout 2011, albeit at a slower pace than I would have preferred. Getting my first bonus ever was a huge plus! =D

So my new year resolution now is to really get off my bum, work really hard, hopefully kick start some of my ideas (hopefully is a bad word, because it means more than not that im not going to do anything about it =/), stay healthy and most importantly, be happy with everything that is going on in my life right now.

On a side note, my birthday yesterday has been a quiet affair, with a girls get together at my house for tea, and a simple dinner home cooked with love =) No parties (yet, but tonite there will be one! haha), no crowds, no drinking. Nevertheless, the week leading up to the big day has been filled with much love and birthday lunches and dinners and surprise gifts, so i've been a very, VERY happy and lucky girl indeed. =D
